This gives scope for you to discuss how the music industry is having to accept that they can't control the file-sharing activities of the audience but need to offer incentives to change the behaviour of the consumer.
Remember you are completing a case study based around a company such as Syco/Sony but then you should also be able to call on information which demonstrates you understand the context in which a modern music company is having to survive i.e. the success of rival companies and how consumers use new media technology to consume music, mobil phones, apps, streaming etc.
